A study in contradictions.

Since she's still not much of a conversationalist, I can only convey funny Madeline stories buy the faces she uses to express how she's feeling.  She is very opinionated without being verbal.   She speaks volumes with one look, but little words.  

Madeline will also tolerate pig tails and bows in her hair (unlike Eva at that age).  I think most of the time, she is just too busy to notice them.  The cuteness they portray is in direct contrast to her attitude.   She is the get down in the dirt tomboy type who would most likely cut her pig tails off if she could, not flaunt them about cheerfully.   I hope she will continue to humor for a little while longer.
