to write the Christmas blog and recall their adventures about town.
The month of December started like 2014's
With hours of GCN shows to be seen
Johnathan and Cora, on their own for many a night
while Mom, Eva and Madeline were out of sight.
It's a blessing but exhausting to be involved in the show,
But as most good friends and WEAGers know,
It's an amazing program for both cast and crew
and those who come to see, leave with hope sprung anew.
We found the perfect tree, slightly smaller this year,
but it still glowed perfectly to share christmas cheer.
Time was spent with family and cousins galore,
Our only wish was that we could do this so much more.
Gingerbread houses assembled and candies to eat,
One picture of all the cousins was quite a feat.
A trip to the Nutcracker delighted the crews,
but it was opening night at Star Wars when they made the news.
A few Santa visits, jolly and merry,
easier now that nobody thinks he is scary.
We continued the tradition of a Christmas Eve tour
to see tacky lights with Starbucks and hot chocolate from the store.
Eva asked for some boots, Madeline, of course, a new doll,
Cora wanted a Zip-it bed, it surprised and confused us all.
And as all my past Christmas posts will tell,
the best things we received were the things you can't sell.
A sweet baby born in a manger so small,
who came in December to save us all.
Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.
May the Joy and anticipation of the Night Before Christmas continue the rest of the year for you and your family.
